Dr. Noor Hassan is a Consultant General Surgeon and Assistant Lecturer based in Sibiu, Romania, with clinical experience in both Romania and the United Kingdom. His experience spans general surgery, emergency surgical care, and aspects of plastic and vascular surgery, gained through appointments in public hospitals and private healthcare institutions.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Hassan is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior surgeons through lectures, bedside instruction, and practical training in the operating theatre. His contributions to surgical education include authorship of two volumes of “Surgery: Lecture Notes for Students.”

His scientific presentations have addressed acute pancreatitis, oesophageal disorders, hepatic hydatid disease, and gastrointestinal malignancies. He has also participated as a sub-investigator in a clinical study on haemophilia A and contributed to humanitarian projects in Romania. His additional training includes advanced life support and paediatric advanced life support.
