Dr. Diter Atasie is an Lector and Medical Genetics specialist at the Faculty of Medicine “Victor Papilian”, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, and a practicing clinician at MedLife Polisano Clinic. With over 20 years of academic and clinical experience, he is actively involved in teaching, research, and clinical practice in the fields of cytogenetics and assisted human reproduction. He has authored numerous scientific publications and books, supervised workshops and congresses, and contributed to national and international medical genetics projects. Dr. Atasie is also a member of several professional societies, including the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and serves as President of the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics – Sibiu Branch.
